Allows Light sensor to find small target of light from appliances
THE BLACK NOZZLE OF THE PRECISE POINT CUTS OUT ALL LIGHT FROM THE ROOM AND GIVES 1/4 INCH DIAMETER TO COVER THE SMALL INDICATOR LIGHTS ON DIGITAL APPLIANCES. THE GLOSSY FINISH ON THE INSIDE OF THE NOZZLE HELPS TO FUNNEL THE LIGHT TO THE CAMERA LENS TO HELP THE LIGHT SENSOR APP DETECTION.
GIVES A TACTILE INDICATION OF WHERE THE CAMERA IS POINTING.
USE YOUR FINGERS TO HELPS PLACE THE PRECISE POINT IN THE CORRECT POSITION OVER THE INDICATOR LIGHT OF THE APPLIANCE. ADAPTIVE MARKINGS ON THE APPLIANCE (SUCH AS BUMP DOTS) ARE NEEDED TO IDENTIFY WHERE THE INDICATOR LIGHTS ARE TO SET THE APPLIANCE ACCURATELY. CONTACT YOUR STATE AGENCY OR LOCAL BLIND ASSOCIATION FOR HELP WITH MARKING APPLIANCES IF NEEDED.
FITS SMARTPHONE CAMERAS THAT ARE 1/2 INCH IN DIAMETER
THE PRECISE POINT WILL ADJUST OVER SMALLER CAMERA LENSES. SOME PHONE CASES FOR THESE SMALLER CAMERAS DO NOT LET THE PRECISE POINT ADAPTER SIT FLUSH. THESE SMALLER CAMERAS ARE MOSTLY ON OLDER VERSION IPHONES. APPLE PHONES 12 OR NEWER WILL WORK.
MADE WITH CONTRAST FOR LOW VISION USERS.
THE BASE OF THE PRECISE POINT IS OFF WHITE AND MADE OF PVC. THE NOZZLE IS BLACK AND MADE OF RUBBER. IT WAS MADE THIS WAY TO GIVE CONTRAST TO BE EASIER TO FIND ON MOST SURFACES.
